Herrick pickups is not currently registered for V.A.T 

 

Product availability.

Herrick pickups products are currently only available to order directly from us, from our workshop in the U.K . We are able to ship worldwide and we offer a fully insured and trusted shipping method with standard and express delivery options.

 

Prices.

ALL prices are shown on each product page for the standard version of each product. All displayed prices are in British Pounds Sterling.

We also offer a myriad of custom options that include Custom colour covers, Overwound / Underwound pickup coils / Multi coil internal Coil configurations and Exotic construction options which are available at an upcharge where applicable. For more detailed information please get in touch via our contact page with your specific requirements.

 

Production times.

Production times are dependent on whether the product in Question is standard or custom spec. We do our best to fulfil orders as Quickly as possible after placement of order via Email / payment, either via a bank transfer or via pay-pal method and as a General guide 1 or 2 Multi coil pickups, or Standard pickups take between 5-10 working days to produce and test under strings and /  or via a dedicated pre-amp in the case of non-series wound pickups ( 1 Humbucker per string) etc. 

 

Deliveries.

All orders are dispatched via a fully insured / Tracked / Signed for method Worldwide where possible using a trusted method of delivery. Orders to U.K destinations take between 3-5 days under normal circumstances and anything urgent can be posted with an express service. An express service will incur an extra fee.

Non U.K orders take between 1-2 weeks to arrive under normal circumstances and anything urgent can be sent with an Express service which will incur an extra fee. Postage prices to International destinations vary according to which Country is the Destination.

 

Duties for non U.K orders.

For Non U.K orders any Import duties or Taxes payable in the Country of destination are the responsibility of the purchaser. Please contact your relevant customs office to find out more regarding any import taxes or duties you may be subject to if ordering from the U.K 

 

Ordering from Herrick pickups.

We ask for ALL order enquiries to be made Initially via our contact form. We will contact you via Email to discuss your requirements or project and we will offer options and advice to confirm that our products will be suitable for the purpose you intend. We will inform you of current production times, Postal costs as well as payment methods that we accept. When we have an agreement from you to proceed, we will issue an invoice. when we receive notification that the invoice has been paid we will begin production and inform you when your order is ready to ship and then double check the postal address you have supplied for the package / order destination. We will then post your item and confirm the Registered Consignment Number and provide you with a link to track the progress of your order in transit.

 

Returns.

At Herrick pickups we take every precaution to ensure ALL of our products are free from defects and are built to last the Lifetime of the original purchaser. In the unlikely event of a product arriving in a faulty or Damaged condition we will replace the Product & cover the postage. For the multi coil pickups, any product found defective should be returned to us as soon as possible for either a replacement or a refund. Herrick pickups will cover the return postage both ways for a faulty multi coil pickup & will be prioritized for a speedy repair and re-delivery.

 

Warranty.

ALL of our products are Guaranteed for the life of the original customer. This Guarantee is non transferrable and is limited to the internal construction, coil integrity / Magnetic integrity. This Warranty does not include wear to pickup covers or hook-up wire / coil connections, merely the coils themselves. In the case of the multi coil pickups 4 / 8 / 10 & 12 coil pickup types, the warranty is immediately void if any tampering to the security paint on the cover fixing screws is evident. Disassembly of any of the Herrick pickups Multi coil pickups is not advised as removal of the cover exposes the delicate internal components to accidental damage which can include coil failure.

This warranty is only valid to the original purchaser and is non transferrable and does not cover damage through mis-use or improper handling or any form of modification or repair by anyone other than Herrick pickups.

 

Installation of our pickups.

Responsibility for correct and safe installation of ALL pickups or an electronics package rests with the customer / purchaser. If you are unfamiliar with wiring or have never fitted guitar / bass pickups or electronics before, please contact an experienced Luthier of Guitar repair workshop and get the pickups / electronics installed professionally.

Your warranty is the original carton that your pickup is supplied in and we ask you to retain the carton for the warranty of your pickup and / or electronics package and use this to return any faulty product to us in. 

 

Outside of Warranty repairs.

Herrick pickups can repair any product made by ourselves that has suffered damage or failure through accidental circumstances. From a single broken coil to a complete re-build, our charges vary according to what is involved in terms of time plus materials. We can repair anything that we make.

 

Cancellation requests.

Cancellation requests must be sent by Email. You do not have to give a reason for cancellation, However a brief explanation will help us to improve the services we offer to our customers in the future. If you cancel before you receive delivery of the ordered pickups, you will be required to pay for the transportation costs incurred by Herrick pickups. If you cancel after receipt of delivery of your order, you must return the product/s to us at your own expense. In order to obtain a refund from Herrick pickups you must ensure the product/s are packaged adequately protected to arrive in perfect and unused condition. In the case of the multi coil pickups this includes any tampering to the cover fixings security paint. If you fail to return the products to us, we will collect them and charge you the direct cost of collection. If you fail to take reasonable care of the product/s before they are returned to us and this negligence results in damage or deterioration of the product/s, We will charge you for the reduction of the product/s value. This Cancellation policy does not affect your Legal rights....For example, if the Products are faulty of incorrectly described.

 

Changes to these terms.

These Terms were last changed on November 13th 2023. these terms apply to your order. We may change our terms & conditions at any time so please do not assume that the same terms will apply to future orders. If in doubt please ask us by Email.

This privacy policy sets out how Herrick pickups uses and protects any information that you give Herrick pickups when you use this website.  Herrick pickups is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement. Herrick pickups may change this policy to periodically updating this page. You should check the page periodically to ensure that you are happy with any changes. This policy is effective from November 13th 2023.

Name, contact information, including Email address, Demographic information such as postcode, preferences and interests, other information relevant to customer surveys and / or offers.

You may request details of personal information which we hold about you under the Data protection Act 1998. A small fee may be payable. If you believe that any of the information we are holding on you is incomplete or incorrect, please Email us as soon as possible, we will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.

While we make every effort to keep Herrick pickups website up to date, we do not provide any Guarantees, conditions or warranties as to the accuracy of the information contained within the website. We do not accept liability for loss or damage incurred by users of the website, whether direct, indirect or consequential, however caused in connection with our site, any websites linked to it and any materials posted on it. This includes but is not limited to loss of income or revenue, business profits and / or contracts, anticipated savings, data, goodwill, tangible property, wasted management or office time. This does not affect our liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, nor our liability for fraudulent misrepresentation or misrepresentation as to a fundamental matter, nor any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
